Site-Specific. Compliant. Actually Used. Professional SWMS development, review and management for high-risk construction work across Queensland and Australia.
Book A CallWhat We Do
If your business performs high-risk construction work, the WHS Regulation requires a Safe Work Method Statement before the work starts - site-specific, developed in consultation with workers, and followed on the job. A generic template with your logo on it doesn't meet that standard. And when an inspector, principal contractor or investigator reads your SWMS, the difference is obvious in seconds.
Why Overwatch
SWMS written by practitioners who understand the work - not template resellers.
We know exactly what inspectors look for, because we've assessed safety documentation from inside the Queensland Government.
Built for your job, your plant, your crew - not a copied list of everything that could theoretically exist on a construction site.
Current legislation, codes of practice and standards - correctly referenced, with no withdrawn codes or expired citations.
Short enough to read at the toolbox, detailed enough to control the risk - written in the language of the trade.
Digital signing and storage with a full audit trail - accessible from site, impossible to lose.
How We Work
We talk to the people doing the job - the task, the plant, the site conditions and the real hazards.
Clear steps, real hazards, practical controls - referenced to current legislation and codes.
Consultation, sign-off and toolbox delivery - so the SWMS works on site, not just on paper.
Our Services
Developed, reviewed and kept current - whatever your business needs.
When Is A SWMS Required?
The WHS Regulation defines the categories of high-risk construction work that require a SWMS before work starts. If your crews do any of the following, this applies to you.
Risk of a fall of more than 2 metres, work on telecommunication towers, demolition of load-bearing structures, tilt-up & precast concrete elements, temporary load-bearing support work, and structural alterations requiring support.
Work near energised electrical installations, trenches or shafts deeper than 1.5 metres, tunnels & excavation work, powered mobile plant movement areas, pressurised gas & chemical/fuel lines, and work near roads & traffic corridors.
Confined spaces, asbestos disturbance or removal, contaminated or flammable atmospheres, artificial extremes of temperature, work over or near water, and diving work & use of explosives.
